Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cannabis Security Guard to join our team for our soft opening. As a Cannabis Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our cannabis facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols to detect and deter any suspicious activity.

  • Enforce access control measures to prevent unauthorized entry.

  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.

  • Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents, taking appropriate action.

  • Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.

  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a security guard, preferably in the cannabis industry.

  • Excellent observational and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Valid state security guard license.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification is a plus.

  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Working Hours:

  • This position requires 35-40 hours per week.

  • Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure full coverage during the soft opening period.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Provide knowledgeable and comprehensive advice on cannabis strains, effects, methods of consumption, and safety procedures to customers.

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing the sale of cannabis.

  • Manage inventory levels, organize product displays, and maintain a clean and inviting store environment.

  • Process sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Educate customers on responsible consumption practices and the medicinal benefits of cannabis.

  • Stay informed on the latest cannabis news, trends, and products to provide up-to-date information to customers.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a retail environment or 1 year in the cannabis industry

  • Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and industry trends.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Certification or training in cannabis education programs is a plus.
